The Wildcats nearly let an 18-point lead slip away in the fourth quarter, but held on with the help of three interceptions to win the Gildan New Mexico bowl for the second time in school history. With the result, both teams finish the season with 7-6 records.

Player of the game

  • Wildcats running back Jared Baker, playing his final collegiate game, rushed for 107 yards and tied a season-high with three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
