The University of Washington football program announced the addition of tough future non-conference games bringing University of Michigan and Brigham Young University into the fold.

The Huskies non-conference schedule has been light of late and over the next couple of years with Boise State (2015) and Rutgers (2016 and 2017) as the main draws over Sacramento State, Idaho, Portland State, and Montana.

The first home-and-home series begins with BYU in 2018 and 2019 with the Wolverines coming on in 2020 and 2021. The home series for the Huskies are in 2018 verses the Cougars and in 2020 against Michigan.

The BYU series helps open recruiting doors in the state of Utah for the Huskies while adding a named opponent to their schedule.

The Michigan series brings fans back to Rose Bowl memories where the Wolverines and Huskies have met four times in an all-time series matchup of 12 contests. The Huskies and Wolverines have split the Rose Bowl series 2-2.

Washington last met Michigan on the gridiron in 2002 and BYU in 2010.
