Plainfield North OL/DL Jack Kramer has strong showing at Elite Big Man Camp

Plainfield North High School is projected to have a very solid offensive line in 2014. Just the other day we highlighted their impressive offensive tackle Cody Conway and the progress he is making in his recruitment. Now we will focus on another important aspect of their line at the right guard position where Jack Kramer lines up. Kramer was a two way player for the Tigers last year that also lined up at defensive tackle. While he feels he can project at both positions because of his 6'3” 280 lb frame, Jack has a real passion for playing on the defensive side of the ball.

Last season at defensive tackle he was able to register 35 tackles and 23 assists en route to being named as an All-Area Honorable Mention selection. Kramer is a real leader among his peers as well which is why he was elected as a team captain for the upcoming season.

His teammates have not been the only ones to recognize Kramer as a standout football player. Schools such as IllinoisCentral MichiganEastern Michigan, and Western Michigan have all reached out to Kramer about his future in football.

“Those schools have been really encouraging me to keep up the hard work and letting me know that I could be a good fit in their football programs," Kramer said. "They have invited me to their camps and junior days which I plan to attend.”

Kramer has already attended Illinois' junior day in January and will be back there for the Orange and Blue spring game in April. He also was just recently at Western Michigan's junior day on February 22nd.

Kramer is a smart kid that not only has those aspirations to play college ball but also to pursue his studies seriously. He plans on studying either sports management or marketing when he attends college. We look forward to following Jack during his recruitment as well as on the field come fall.
