City College of San Francisco has a long history of producing Junior College National Championships, California State Championships, and Northern California Championships. Along with the talent that comes to the Ocean Ave. campus for up to two years are plenty of Division-I prospects.

On Monday Baylor pulled one of the top JUCO players in the nation in offensive tackle Dominic Desouza.

Desouza, listed at 6’8”, 300 pounds, is the highly athletic type of tackle Baylor head coach Art Briles likes to use to anchor his high-tempo spread offense.

The Bears had targeted Desouza early trying to keep away Arizona State, Kansas, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Oregon State, among others, from landing the talented big man.

Baylor hosted Desouza on an official visit on Oct. 11, the weekend the Bears knocked TCU from the ranks of the unbeaten (61-58).

The Bears now have 13 verbal commitments to their 2015 recruiting class with Desouza being the first out of state pledge and the third offensive lineman.
